Turks & Caicos Islands –The Royal Turks & Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) has NOT identified the human remains found in the Breezy Brae area of Grand Turk on Thursday 16th April, 2015. Forensic analysis must be done to determine the identity of the remains.
The posting of erroneous and incorrect reports on social media sites have impacted victims in a very negative way. Inaccurate and unsubstantiated information increases the pain and suffering of victims.
The RTCIPF is pleading for more responsible behavior and noted that members of the public should always seek information from trusted news agencies only, to avoid causing unnecessary stress to those affected or who may be affected by a crime.
