Philipsburg, Sint Maarten — A pre-hurricane-season system is showing signs of developing within the next 5-days off the southeastern U.S. coast. If it does develop into a tropical storm, it will be named Ana. This system will NOT affect the SSS Islands or the rest of the Caribbean.
Also, the season has been forecast to be near- or below-normal.
Prepare your families, homes, and properties in advance of any tropical systems during the season — Don’t get caught off-guard.
