GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – The Department of Economy, Transportation and Telecommunications is inviting taxi and bus drivers, to attend a meeting on Thursday, 4th June regarding a consultation on the country’s public transportation system.
The invitation being extended by the Minister responsible for Transportation, and the Policy Department, is also for help, assistant drivers and permit holders.
The public transportation meeting will take place at the Cultural Center on Back Street from 7.00PM to 9.00PM.
Those in attendance will get information with respect to steps being taken to upgrade legislation and policy.
The input of those in attendance in the meeting next week Thursday is most welcome as it will only further improve the public transportation system of the country.
