Police arrest two for drug possession
The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Tuesday 21st July, 2015 formally arrested and charged two young men one 20 years old of North Valley and the other 22 years old of Sachasses for possession of cannabis.
The arrest which followed the execution of a search warrant on the alleged offender’s home in Sachasses also resulted in the seizure of 95.4 grams of cannabis with a street value of US $954.00.
Both offenders appeared before the Magistrate’s Court today Wednesday 22nd July, 2015 and were granted bail with one surety each in the sum of EC $45,000.00.
The offenders’ condition of bail is that they are to report to The Valley Police Station every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm.
They are both due back in court on Tuesday 13th October, 2015 to answer to the charge.
