Hurricane Danny a bit stronger…

Danny strengthened into the 1st hurricane of the season!
As of
5pm, the center of Hurricane Danny is… 
 * Located: 13.0 N 45.7 W (+/- 1200 miles ESE of St. Maarten)
* Max. winds: 80mph (Category 1)
* Moving: WNW at 10mph
* Forecasted track: near/at local region by next Monday/Tuesday, if it continues on its present track.

Regardless of future development/weakening, Danny is forecast to bring some much needed rain to the Eastern CaribbeanWe will continue to monitor its progress.

Elsewhere in the Atlantic…

Two tropical disturbances have the potential to develop into a tropical depression within the next few days.
1. Low (20%) Chance in 48 hours, Medium (60%) Chance in 5 days

Low (10%) Chance in 48 hours, Low (30%) Chance in 5 days
