LIAT announces schedule changes and Dominica recovery plan

JOHN, Antigua, August 28, 2015 LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, has announced changes to its schedule as it seeks to help the people of Dominica with their recovery plan following the passage of Tropical Storm Erika which has resulted in the closure of the Douglas-Charles Airport and the cancellation of several flights over the last three days.

LIAT will be operating an additional 29 services into Guadeloupe over the next week to facilitate movement into and out of Dominica. Effective August 29 through to September 5 the following changes have been made to the LIAT schedule:

 

Effective immediately, customers holding a LIAT ticket to / from Dominica will be allowed to change their flight to / from Guadeloupe, Martinique or St. Lucia at no charge. It is the responsibility of customers taking this option to ensure they meet the appropriate requirements to enter Guadeloupe, Martinique or St. Lucia. It is anticipated that the  Guadeloupe to Dominica ferry will restart on Saturday 29th August.  Information can be found at: www.express-des-iles.com  Customers will also be responsible for any associated costs for the ferry service to / from Dominica.

The Call Centre is open from 07:00 – 22:00, Monday toSaturday and from 07:00 – 18:00 on Sunday and Public Holidays
