PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten – There is nothing more that can be done medically for Officer Gamali Benjamin in the Dominican Republic.
As a result of this the officer was flown back to the island of St. Maarten where he arrived after twelve noon and was greeted by his colleagues and family members at the airport.
He was carried to the St. Maarten Medical Center by ambulance which was given a police escort.
Officer Gamali Benjamin is now at the St. Maarten Medical Center with Family and friends.
