PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — Junior Chamber International will be celebrating their 100 year anniversary of impacting communities all over the world. The leadership and training organization is known to be the leading global active citizens’ network. The conference is to be held on the 3rd through to the 8th of November, 2015 in Kanazawa Japan.
The incoming president Delmarie York-Cornelius and Senator Wilma Vrutaal one of the advisors of the chapter will be representing Sint Maarten as part of the Dutch Caribbean delegation. Leadership trainings will be provided by JCI directors. JCI LIVE Soualiga will be take this chance to promote Sint Maarten tourism and culture alongside the Dutch Caribbean at the Global Village event during the conference.
Delmarie Cornelius said she will receive all the trainings and knowledge that she will be needing to share with the new chapter JCI LIVE Soualiga and the general public to ensure quality of the members and to motivated them to be active members within the local community by the execution of sustainable projects that will solve pressing issues in the community.
The new chapter LIVE Soualiga Leaders Innovation Vibrant of Equality is said to have general meeting every last Wednesday at USM starting at 7:30pm. They are encouraging the public to get involved make a change and be that positive impact that our community, youth and members need.
