JOHN’S, Antigua, November 03, 2015 – The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, extend warm congratulations to the Government and people of Dominica on the attainment of 37 years of nationhood.
Dominica gained independence on November 03, 1978. The theme for this year’s Independence Day is “Rebuilding Dominica Together.”
Chief Executive Officer David Evans praised the resilience of the Dominican people as the island continues to recover from the ravages of Tropical Storm Erika.
“As you continue the rebuilding process, you can be assured of the continued support of all of us here at LIAT,” Mr. Evans said. “I wish Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and Dominicans at home and abroad the best during your Independence Day celebrations.”
