PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — Today at approximately 12.30 p.m. the Emergency Dispatch received two anonymous phone calls of two explosive devices placed at two in the immediate vicinity of the Princess Juliana International Airport.
Immediately the police department mobilized its officers diverting traffic from the airport area.
The airport has been evacuated by airport security and searches will be conducted the police search team.
The police stated that as soon more info becomes available. The public will be informed.

CUL de SAC, Sint Maarten — The police department is apologizing to the general public for any inconvenience or delay the road closures and traffic diversions may have cost on Sunday November 22nd 2015 during the funeral of the late Latoya Flanders.
No prior notification regarding these road closure were sent out was part of the strategy to insure safety and security during the entire ceremony.
The entire ceremony transpired without incidents.
