BELAIR, Sint Maarten – On Saturday, March 26, Soualiga Service Point and PuntoMio attended the first Bridal Expo, hosted by Celestial Wedding at the Belair Community Center. The event started at 11:00am and the expo component lasted until 6:00pm.
“The idea of the event was to host the different vendors that are directly incorporated when you are planning your wedding (from catering to decor to entertainment). It goes without saying that planning your wedding is an overwhelming event in a person’s life. This event was to serve as a guideline for engaged couples on the island. This would help them realize the amount of local talent and services that we have right here at our doorstep,” said organizers in a statement.
“And you would ask why would PuntoMio be part of this event? Statistics show that 70 to 80 percent of our clientele are women. Brides-to-be are the ones in control of the expenses for their wedding and they are constantly looking for the most cost-effective ways to import what they need for their perfect day,” the statement continued.
Retail and Office Manager Kenty Lichtenberg was happy to have been part of this event and hopes that in the future more companies can collaborate to continue to bring these types of showcases to life.
