Tourism Bureau, SHTA announce joint marketing with TripAdvisor and Expedia

USA/SINT MAARTEN — St. Maarten Tourism Bureau and the St. Maarten Hospitality Trade Association (SHTA) are excited to announce a joint marketing with TripAdvisor and Expedia has been approved by the Council of Ministers and will commence post haste.

Carol Johnson, Destination Sales Manager, the Caribbean and LatAm for TripAdvisor®, the travel planning and booking site, will be in St. Maarten, March 30-31, to meet with tourism professionals to unveil and present the 2016 St. Maarten Digital Cooperative Program, and packages available to the private sector, in order to take advantage of this combined effort to promote the destination and all of its offerings.

Johnson is a media industry marketing professional focusing on international travel. With her full focus on digital, she is utilizing her integrated media experience, from print to TV to events, to educate, implement and manage digital strategy, reputation and campaigns for destinations on the world’s largest travel website TripAdvisor.
