50 Cent Tops List of Confirmed Acts for the 20th St.Kitts Music Festival

Basseterre, St.Kitts (April 10 2016):– The St.Kitts Music Festival Committee on Friday announced the first wave or list of confirmed acts for the 20th edition of the Caribbean’s leading music festival event.

At the  media launch event Chairman of the Festival’s Artistes Selection Committee Ambassador Jonel Powell indicated that his committee spent hours coming up with a list of performers that would satisfy not only the tourism goals of the festival but also the tastes of the patrons  and the public on a whole.

The Artistes Selection committee includes: Allister Williams, Raquel Browne, Avenice Thompson, Samal Duggins, Adrian Lamb, Faron Lawrence , Trevor “Jamsta” Woodley and  Wallis Wilkin.

Powell said, “We(Artistes Selection Committee) have come up with a line-up that we hope is not just a line-up that would satisfy those objectives, but a line-up of artiste that will make 20th Anniversary of the St. Kitts Music Festival one to remember.”

Some 25 plus acts were announced with more still to be announced. Rap Icon 50 Cents heads the very heavy list of local, regional and International Artistes. Along with 50 Cents other big names announced includes Damian Junior Gong Marley, Taurus Riley, Morgan Heritage, Original Burning Flames, Original WCK and more.

The full line up of Announced acts are: 50 Cents, Morgan Heritage, Damien Marley, Tarrus Riley, Crucial Bankie, The Original Bouyon Pioneers (Original WCK), Marcia Griffiths, Dexta Daps, El Mayor Clasico, The O’Jays, Leroy Sibbles, Deanna, Burning Flames, L.A.X., Nicha B, Shanna, Malik Mustafa, Rodney, DeJour, Mod Stoney, I-Mark, Bachanalist Crew, Small Axe Band and the NuVybes International Band aka Sugar Band.

A source close to the committee has indicated that at least 4 more acts will be announced including another Major International Act.

The St.Kitts Music Festival takes place between June 23rd to 25th
