GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), announces that road works in the area of Sister Regina School at Sister Regina road/Simpson Bay road, will start Saturday, April 23rd for approximately two weeks, and will be completed on May 7th.
These works will be carried out between 7:00am and 5:00pm.
GEBE will be laying new water lines in the aforementioned area.
Though there will be a partially road closure, motorists should be mindful of possible traffic delay and diversion.
Motorists must pay attention to signage indicating that work is underway, and therefore should reduce speed and drive with caution due to the workmen and heavy equipment that will be in the area.
Ministry VROMI apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause.
