PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — On Wednesday, April 6, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, nine students from the HAVO and VWO sectors of the Milton Peters College (MPC) visited Police Headquarters in Philipsburg for an educational field trip.
The students were met by Public Relations Officer Chief Inspector Ricardo Henson, and Community Police Officer Helen Romeo.
The students were given a guided tour of the facilities, including the new Emergency Dispatch Center (911) by Romeo.
After the tour, the students were given an explanation by Henson about the structure and daily operation of the organization. The students were allowed to ask questions and were happy with the answers. They were also impressed by the functioning of the organization.
