PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — On Wednesday, June 22, 2016, The Governor of Sint Maarten, His Excellency Eugene Holiday visited HNLMS Groningen, the Dutch Marine Ship, which was participating in the Annual Hurricane Exercise on Sint Maarten.
After landing on the ship via the ship’s NH90 Maritime Helicopter, he received a briefing on the activities and capabilities and was given a tour of the command bridge of the ship.
Considering the importance of cooperation in disaster management Governor Holiday was accompanied by Prefet Anne Laubies and the British Consul to Sint Maarten.
