PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — Member of Parliament and leader of the United St. Maarten (US) party Frans Richardson, on behalf of the board of the USp, on Friday expressed his party’s deepest condolences to France and all French nationals after the tragic loss of life in Nice, Southern France on Thursday.

“This attack on peaceful people as they celebrated Bastille Day is particularly horrendous and could never be justified by any reason. The US party expresses solidarity with the French government and our French brothers and sister of the Northern half of this island. Those who have suffered loss directly and those who feel the loss nationally.

“We express our deepest condolences to all the victims and their bereaved families, and express our heartfelt sympathy to those who were injured in the attack,” MP Frans Richardson said.
