MADAME ESTATE – On Saturday, September 3, the St. Maarten Zoological and Botanical Garden Foundation (St. Maarten Zoo Foundation) will be hosting its second fundraising Gala Dinner at Zoo Rock Café in Simpson Bay with music and entertainment by the infamous Control Band, Youth Waves and DJ Pebbles on the ones and twos.

The fundraising Gala event, sponsored in part by the St. Maarten Timeshare Association (SMTA), will benefit St. Maarten’s most diverse animal park in their continued efforts to create an educational atmosphere for tourists and residents, with various insights into the flora and fauna of St. Maarten and the neo-tropical region of Latin America and the Caribbean.

The event will be at Zoo Rock Café in Simpson Bay and starts at 7:00pm. The dinner portion of the evening includes a lovely 3-course dinner with vegetarian options, alongside the energetic sounds of St. Maarten’s own entertainment masters: Youth Waves, Control Band and DJ Pebbles.

A silent auction will also take place during the duration of the evening with some great prizes, including artwork and airline trip tickets.

Guests can enjoy a 3-course dinner for a donation of $100 per person. For those who prefer a lighter platter of hors d’oeuvres and top-shelf drink options can purchase tickets for $50.

Tickets are available on location at the St. Maarten Zoo, The Daily Herald, Island Pet Shop, Healthy Iguana Veterinary Services and from all Board members.
