PHILIPSBURG – The Rotaract club of St. Maarten Sunrise executed a fundraising event to assist 45 students from the Milton Peters College (MPC) and Sundial School with their trip to the Netherlands. A monetary contribution was made.
The students will be travelling to the Netherlands today Friday, September 23, to gain new experiences and broaden their horizons. “We hope that this contribution donated would go a long way in serving the purpose for which it was intended,” a statement from Rotaract said.
“In good faith, we hope to return and give more as well as extend our hand to other students at the schools,” the release stated.
The school managers and students thanked Rotaract for this timely gesture, which has benefited their students in their pursuit of academic excellence.
