After an enlightening campaign process and meeting great people out there, I would like to say thank you very much to the 135 people who saw fit to vote for me. I really appreciate your support.
I would also like to thank the 856 persons who saw fit to vote for the St. Maarten Christian Party (SMCP).
Our Leader Pastor Smith and all eight other candidates thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
I would like to thank my family and close friends, but in particular Ms. Candice Duchesse Carti, who was my campaign manager. All this was achieved between me and her. I only wished we had a bigger team, but my experience has been that many talk the talk, but not many walk the walk.
I would like to thank all the people who openly endorsed me. In particular Ms. Daniella Jeffry, Mr. Russell Voges, my brother Raymond Lake and of course my mother Aline Choisy and my father Hans Peterson.
To all the people who inboxed me that they voted for me, I say: “I sincerely thank you for your support.”
I ran my campaign with integrity and never pressured persons for their vote. It just demonstrates that one can get votes without buying them, having individual posters all over, all the radio ads and making empty promises.
I achieved some of my goals with this total and I will keep fighting for my people and SXM.
Now it is time to move on in my journey. I will remain engaged. I ask that any person who would like reach out to me and who would like to meet, I remain available to meet and discuss.
