Following the disclosure of the exam results, several persons raised questions in relation to her choice to write 20 subjects, with some condemning it. However, Elated Karim told News Room that her belief is, no one should be stopped from achieving their full potential.

She encouraged current and future students to “push yourself to how far you can go, if you can do 15 subjects, do it, if you can do 20 subjects, do it. Do not let anybody hold you back.”

Previously, the scholar was awarded a trip for two (2) to Arrowpoint Nature Resort, the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana Presidents Award “Resort of the Year”, a trip to Kaieteur Falls and an Aerial Tour of Georgetown. Source Newsroom
