SIMPSON BAY – The Christmas season kicked off for members, guests and staff of Simpson Bay Resort & Marina on Wednesday, December 7, with the annual Tree Lighting ceremony.
The jovial event saw Santa and two elves arrive amid cheers at the Resort lobby, where members, guests and staff of all ages lined up eagerly to sit on his lap, share wishes and take pictures.
Live steel pan Christmas carols paused only for a group countdown for the official lighting of an eye-catching 12-foot Christmas tree. The colourful celebration was put together by the marketing team of Angele Geerman and Ruchella Yarzagaray.
