ST. PETERS – In a press release, the Pantophlet Villa Foundation announced their annual “sacu” food sale.
“As part of our Aruba day celebration the Pantophlet Villa Foundation (PVF) is hosting its annual ‘sacu’ food sale on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Pantophlet Villa Foundation, Tangerine Road 14, St. Peters,” the release stated.
“Our signature menu includes: homemade souse $5, chicken sacu $6, spare ribs sacu $7, mixed sacu (chicken and ribs combo) $8, and fish sacu $7. Your choice of sacu includes homemade wedge fries, journey cakes and fried plantain,” the release continued.
Tickets can be obtained from any PVF member, and proceeds from the sacu food sale fundraiser event goes towards PVF’s “Help A Parent” project. The “Help A Parent” project aims to assist families that face acute financial difficulties, yet displays a very active interest in the child’s education, to pay for their child’s school fee, uniforms (including gym clothes), 1 free hair cut (boys) or hairstyle (girls) and shoes for the school year.
“Come out and enjoy great food and support a worthy cause at the same time!” concluded the release, which was signed by the PVF President Riegnald “Bakari” Arrindell.
