SOUTH REWARD – Minister of VROMI Christophe Emmanuel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Adopt-A-Stop St. Maarten to have approximately 60 solar paneled bus shelters constructed and installed, some of which will include USB portals for the public to use for charging of mobile devices.
The bus shelters will be placed in strategic locations throughout St. Maarten. The project is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2017.
At the moment, locations for the bus shelters are under review to ensure that they are placed in efficient locations.
