PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — The Detective Department of the KPSM is still busy with “Mars” investigation which is regarding two men namely Luis David Sarante-Diaz also known as “Blanco” and Erwin Rosario Contreras also known as “Eggy” who went missing on Monday December 5th 2016, after they entered a hotel room at the Simpson bay Resort and Marina.
On Wednesday July 12th 2017, a press release was issued by the police department in the local newspapers and on Social Media, in search for a green old model Dodge Caravan. This vehicle was last seen on the premises of the Simpson bay Resort and Marina on the same date the two men went missing and was most probably used in the disappearance of both men.
As the investigation continued on Wednesday July 12th the man with initials M.A.W. was arrested as a suspect in this case. The green old model Dodge Caravan was located and confiscated for further investigation. The suspect remains in restricted custody for questioning in this investigation.
