PHILIPSBURG – Popular Youth talent competition Rock the House is back for another year, and this 13th edition of the show will have a Miss Teen-Social segment this year.
Laugh Out Loud (LOL) Productions announced that the segment is in no way a queen show, but the segment allows the attendees to pick who they think impressed them the most with their talent.
Five young ladies signed up last month and the teens will perform a 5-minute act for the audience during Rock the House Talent show on September 29. Laugh Out Loud productions said popular segments like Best Dance Group and Best Amateur DJ are still there.
What makes Rock the House special from other talent shows is that the crowd is the ultimate judge of the show. At the end of each segment, audience members choose the winner of the respective categories. The participants are: Fabienne Jean-Simon, Elizabeth Jimenez, Xiomara JeanPierre, Nicole Grace Garrin and Dorothy James.
The location of the event will be announced at a later date. Organizers are calling on potential sponsors to contribute to the long running show. Thus far nine dance groups and two DJs have signed up for the show.
Interested persons can Facebook Laugh Out Loud productions on their page. Tickets are US $10 in advance and will be available on September 11 only at McDonald’s in Philipsburg. The event starts at 7:00pm sharp.
