Santo Domingo, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – A man of unknown identity murdered a 24-year-old girl and left her partner severely wounded after a discussion resulting from a traffic accident on George Washington Avenue in Dominican Republic.
According to preliminary information reaching our newsroom, the victim identified as Yulissa Merdily Acosta Parra was shot in the head. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Her partner, Edgar Leito, 32, was treated at a health center in the city of Santo Domingo with a wound in his shoulder.
The incident occurred after both cars brushed. The driver of the other car shot at his victim’s vehicle, while in transit on George Washington Avenue approaching the corner of Espaillat after leaving a casino.
The accused fled after committing the crime.
