33 years old man on bail for living on the earnings of prostitution
The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Thursday 21st June 2018 arrested and charged 33 years old Luis Jose Espinal Fleming of Statia Valley with one (1) count of living on the earnings of prostitution.
The alleged offender who appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Friday 22nd June, 2018 was granted bail in the sum of EC $60,000.00 with one surety. His conditions of bail are that he surrenders all travel documents forthwith and not leave the island by any means without the permission of the court and be of good behaviour.
He is due back in court on Tuesday 25th September, 2018 when he is expected to answer to the charge.
48 years old woman on bail for human trafficking offences
The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Thursday 21st June 2018 arrested and charged 48 years old Celia Beatroz Pinalico of Statia Valley with two (2) counts of keeping a brothel, two (2) counts of trafficking in people and one (1) count of living on the earnings of prostitution.
The alleged offender who appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Friday 22nd June, 2018 was granted bail in the sum of EC $60,000.00 with one surety. Her conditions of bail are that she surrenders all travel documents forthwith and not leave the island by any means without the permission of the court and be of good behaviour.
She is due back in court on Tuesday 25th September, 2018 when she is expected to answer to the charges.
64 years old woman on bail for human trafficking offences
The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Tuesday 19th June 2018 arrested and charged 64 years old Carmen Hansen Contreras Brooks of Blowing Point with two (2) counts of keeping a brothel, two (2) counts of trafficking in people and one (1) count of living on the earnings of prostitution.
The alleged offender who appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Thursday 21st June, 2018 was granted bail in the sum of EC $80,000.00 with one surety. Her conditions of bail are that she surrenders all travel documents forthwith and not leave the island by any means without the permission of the court and be of good behaviour.
She is due back in court on Monday 24th September, 2018 when she is expected to answer to the charges.
