Belvedere, St Maarten — The Asset Recovery Team Sint Maarten seized a vehicle in Belvedere on Anna’s Hope Estate, Wednesday morning, August 15, 2018 in the ongoing PEN investigation.
J.E.A.F. (17-02-1949, Aruba) is the main suspect in this investigation. J.E.A.F. is accused of amongst other things money laundering. J.E.A.F. has not been detained.
The Asset Recovery Team Sint Maarten is a collaboration between the Sint Maarten Police Force (KPSM), the Sint Maarten Tax Authority, Customs, the Caribbean Coast Guard, and the Public Prosecutor’s Office Sint Maarten. The Asset Recovery Team was founded on the basis that crime should not pay. Proceeds seized by the Asset Recovery Team will benefit Country St. Maarten.
