PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – On Wednesday afternoon, Prime Minister Leona Romeo Marlin visited the new location of Postal Services St. Maarten N V located at Soualuiga Road in the former Civil Registry Building.
Together with members of the newly appointed PSS Supervisory Board, PSS management, Bureau Telecommunication and Post (BTP) and key partners that made the relocation possible, the Prime Minister took the opportunity to tour the renovated office space on its first day of operation.
As of Wednesday, PSS will be offering its services from its new address; this relocation is part of the ongoing process to improve the overall functioning of the postal service. The services rendered at the new location are fax money orders to BES Islands, Curacao and Aruba, express mail service EMS, sale of postage stamps, parcel shipments worldwide, elite post (with same day delivery), pick up services, Aero-Post Ecommerce (online shopping), DHL services, cell phone top-up services, certified mail services and direct mail services.
The public of St. Maarten is hereby informed that the availability and access to their mailboxes will be at the former Post Office location until further notice.
