Caribbean Airlines start of weekly service between Guyana and Havana Cuba

Port of Spain — Caribbean Airlines now offers weekly service between Cheddi Jagan International, Guyana and Jose Marti International, Havana, Cuba, which started on November 21. Flights will operate every Saturday.

As per Civil Aviation regulations, each flight into/out of Havana, will transit via Trinidad, however, passengers will not disembark the aircraft.

Cuba Entry Requirements:
All passengers are required to fill out a Health Declaration form before checking in for your flight to Cuba. It is recommended to bring a printed copy of this form once completed.

New Health Tax –Cuba has implemented a health tax that is relevant to mandatory PCR testing upon arrival of the customer into Cuba. The tax is $30 USD.

COVID-19 requirements – all customers will be subject to PCR testing upon arrival into Cuba (hence the tax) as well as quarantine (self-isolation or Government facility) as the authorities see fit for 7 days.

Mask Requirements – Cuba mandates that persons are required to wear masks all the time if they are in a public place, as such, passengers are required to wear appropriate face masks.
