Dear Editor,
Please find attached a letter addressed to the Governments and Parliaments of Aruba, Curacao, and St. Maarten regarding the current constitutional crisis in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
As you are aware, the Dutch State admitted in the Court of First Instance that there doesn’t exist any UN Resolution which states that “Article 73 (Chapter XI) of the United Nations Charter no longer applies to the Netherlands Antilles.”
The aforementioned admission has far-reaching implications for the future of the constitutional relationship of the Kingdom.
