Florida State University Shooting of 17 April 2025
After consulting with the Tallahassee St. Maarten Foundation board members, I am extremely relieved to confirm that all St. Maarteners attending or otherwise affiliated with Florida State University have been accounted for and are SAFE, following today’s tragic shooting incident.
My thoughts are with the families of those who lost their lives or were otherwise injured in today’s horrific, but all too familiar, incident.
The Ministry, by way of the Division of Study Financing, is in touch with TSF as things progress and will provide updates as we receive them. For now, let us be thankful that our students are safe and hold those affected families in our hearts.
Our Tallahassee State College and FAMU students were also all accounted for and marked safe.
