The Atlantic area of high pressure is the dominant weather feature affecting the region, this continues to push dry air over the forecast area which is restricting significant precipitation.
Sea conditions are currently slight to moderate. However, some deterioration is expected by Thursday with continuing deterioration over the upcoming weekend. Any advisories or warnings will be issued whenever they become necessary.

SPECIAL FEATURE:
At 5am, Tropical Storm Danny was located at 11.3N 40.2W or about 1445 miles east-south-east of St. Maarten. It is moving west at 14mph with maximum sustained winds at 50mph.
The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor the progress of this system, as it has the possibility to further strengthen.
 
OUTLOOK through Friday morning: Partly cloudy, breezy, and slightly hazy with brief isolated showers possible.
