Although Danny has weakened it is still heading towards the Leeward Islands. Anguilla is currently under A TROPICAL STORM WARNING which means that tropical storm conditions are expected somewhere within the warning area within 36 hours.
ANGLEC would like to advise its customers and staff to stay safe during the storm.
Customers should expect power interruptions and when experienced, customers should immediately disconnect appliances that are vulnerable to intermittent power.
Under storm conditions, unplug non-essential sensitive appliances (such as computers, TVs, VCRs, DVDs, microwave ovens, and entertainment systems) to reduce the risk of damage from power surges or voltage sags that can occur from wind and/or lightening.
Do not venture near downed lines or broken poles.
ANGLEC recognizes that the supply of electricity is critical for our customers. However, customer and staff safety are the primary considerations for us in these situations.
