Man from The Valley fined EC$500.00 for handling stolen goods.

The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Friday 9th October, 2015 arrested and charged a 27     year old man from The Valley for handling stolen good.

The offender who appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Monday 12th October, 2015 was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.  He returned to court on Tuesday 13th October, 2015 where he pled guilty to the offence.

He was fined EC$500.00 to be paid fort wit.

Police arrest 23 year old for having and tendering counterfeit notes

The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Friday 9th October, 2015 arrested a 23 year old male of Tackling for having and tendering US $50.00 counterfeit notes.

The offender, who was charged with both offences on Sunday 11th October, 2015 appeared before the Magistrate’s court on Monday 12th October, 2015.  Bail was granted in the sum of EC$60,000.00 with one surety.

Conditions of the bail are that the offender to surrender his passport and not leave the island without the court’s permission, report to the Valley Police Station every Monday and Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm.  He is also required to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

He is due back in court on Tuesday 8th December, 2015 to answer to the charges.

North Side man arrested for Grievous Bodily Harm and Wounding

The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Friday 9th October, 2015 arrested a 40 year old man from North Side for Grievous Bodily Harm and Wounding.

The offender, who was charged on Sunday 11th October, 2015 appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Monday where he was remanded at Her Majesty’s Prison.

The offender reappeared before the Magistrate today Wednesday where he was granted bail in the sum of EC$60,000.00 with one surety to appear back in court on Thursday 17th December, 2015.

Conditions of the bail are that the offender to surrender his passport to the court and not leave the island without the court’s permission, not to interfere directly or indirectly with the virtual complainants, report to the Valley Police Station every Monday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm.  He is also required to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
