SAINT LUCIA — Police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred on Sunday, July 24, 2016 about 8:20 a.m. on the Ti Rocher Main Road.
Motor car registration number PK 2309 driven by 20 year old, Keran Matty of Ti Rocher, Micoud was travelling in a southerly direction when it collided with pedestrian, 62 year old Christina Theophile of Ti Rocher, Micoud.
As a result, Theophile sustained serious injuries. She was transported to the St. Jude hospital where she succumbed.
This is the twelfth fatal accident for 2016.
