PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — Today, is the start of another school year. On behalf of the SMCP family and myself, I would like to wish all the students a year filled with learning possibilities and success. Please be nice to your teachers and let them do their jobs.
Let this be a year without bullying, intimidation and fighting. You are our future.
To the first time students, I say be strong and don’t be scared. I can remember how nervous I was my first day of school but by recess I was at ease once I made friends.
TO ALL OUR TEACHERS, I would like to wish you all guidance, patience, understanding, dedication and wisdom to carry out this great task which you all have assumed.
