A tropical wave is expected to pass over Sint Maarten tonight or early tomorrow

WEATHER UPDATE: 9:00pm (September 08, 2016)

Thursday’s Tropical Update:

• A tropical wave is expected to pass over the local region overnight into tomorrow, bringing showers (some could be heavy) and possible thunder/lightning.

>>> Road Caution is advised in low-lying & flood-prone areas. <<<

• A 2nd tropical wave, located just off the coast of Africa, has a low (20%) to medium (60%) chance of formation in 2-5 days, and its current track has it reaching near our local region late next week.

We will be monitoring both of these systems closely.
