Winners selected

UTS has selected the winners for its 2017 Valentines SMS promotion. The campaign kicked off at the beginning of February and participants could SMS for their chance to win a lovers Valentine’s getaway for 2 on their own island.

The idea to offer a “staycation” as a prize was based on the observation that although “we live on beautiful islands and enjoy the beach, sand, sun and food, many of us never really see the fantastic hotels and resorts that our visitors enjoy while here,” a release said.

The mobile provider therefore decided to bring a weekend of luxurious pampering at a top resort to a customer on the islands of St. Maarten, Saint Martin, Saba and St. Eustatius.

Each winner was awarded a weekend stay at one of the top hotels/ resorts on their island, including breakfast and dinner, as well as a couples goodie package.
