Receivers extends business hours for Road Tax payments. Office open this Saturday

GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – The Receiver’s Office at Pond Island would like to remind motorists especially those with temporary plates that the office will be open on Saturday, March 4from 9.00am to 1.00pm, and they should come in to pick up their new plates on the aforementioned day.

The extension of business hours is to facilitate motorists with payments of their 2017 Road Tax.

Also, make use of the opportunity to pick up your plates at the Public Service Center in Simpson Bay during the weekdays.

The requirements for collection of number plates are as follows at the Public Service Center:

  1. Payment of the 2017 Motor Vehicle Tax was made at the Tax Administration (Receiver’s Office) at the Public Service Center in Simpson Bay;
  2. Motorists must allow three days (following payment) before number plates can be collected;
  3. Motorists must present original proof of payment of the 2017 Motor Vehicle Tax upon collection of the plates.
