SUCKER GARDEN – A bushfire started early Saturday morning, April 15, when a flare object landed on the top of the hill, according to an eyewitness who reported this to 721news.
The witness said it was after midnight when he saw a flare object land on the top of the hill, and the fire started. He immediately notified the police and Fire Department.
However, due to the remoteness of the area, it was difficult for the Fire Department to reach, and combat the fire in the night.
The location of the fire did not put any houses or lives in danger. The weekend rain did help out the fire.
