SUCKERGARDEN, Sint Maarten — On Sunday morning at around 04.35 am, a police patrol was dispatched to the Sucker Garden road in the vicinity of Rollock’s property, where it was reported that a car had flipped over.
Upon arrival of the patrol, ambulance personnel were already tending to the driver of the silver Hyundai Accent, who was the only person in the vehicle and complaining of pain in his lower back.
The driver told officers at the scene that while in the direction of Point Blanche, an oncoming vehicle swerved into his lane and while trying to avoid a head on collision, caused his vehicle to flip and land on it’s side.
No other vehicles were involved in this accident.
