THE BOTTOM, Saba — On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, Saba boxer Ludwig Charles along with his coach Roderick Lovell travelled from Saba to St. Lucia to compete in the “Creole Tournament.” Charles is joining the St. Maarten delegation.
Shawn Blair, President of the St. Maarten National Boxing Federation told our sports room that the Saba boxer and his coach is meeting up with the St. Maarten delegation because St. Maarten is a full member of AIBA, so Saba is under the St. Maarten delegation as they (Saba) are not a full member of AIBA.
As was reported earlier this week, 18 year old Earl Stephan Duzong Jr. travelled along with his coach his dad Earl Duzong on July 4, 2017 to participate in the “Creole Tournament” in St. Lucia from July 5-July 9, 2017.
