MIDDLE REGION Sint Maarten — A limited number of tickets for this year’s TelCell’s ‘Night of the Hit Makers’ will be released at a discount price starting Tuesdayand will end on March 12.

During the two-week period, patrons can pay just $25 for tickets instead of $30,- in advance and $40,- the week of the show available at Van Dorp, SOS Radio, Domino’s on Bush Road, Abu Ghazi in Madame Estate, Adolphus Richardson Office Supplies and Fleming’s Café at Raoul Illidge Sports Complex, announced Xtratight Entertainment producer Bertaux ‘Mr. Rude’ Fleming.

Given the devastation after Hurricane Irma in September last year, Fleming plans to offer the show as a stress relief for the island’s inhabitants. He is making good on his promise for the April 28 show at the Festival Village, maintaining that since fans have continuously supported this event, he will promote it like its theirs. One such way is by giving discounts on ticket prices as customary, in what he calls “Xtratight Hit Makers Relief”. He said there will be limited tickets at this price ($25), so he is encouraging fans to grab them before they are all gone. Op=Op

Dubbed St. Maarten’s carnival flagship show and premier dance experience, ‘Night of the Hit Makers’ is slated to be bigger and better this year with the line-up including T-Vice, a Haitian Kompa band currently based in Miami; St. Maarten’s own Control Band; the original Burning Flames now known as Fantastic Four out of Antigua; and Grammy-nominated reggae hit maker Jah Cure.

With such a line-up, fans are already gearing up for an epic production. “This will be the ultimate dance party and the people can expect a great production as usual. We will be doing exactly what we say we are going to do. We will not compromise. Our production, from start to end, will be programmed to make sure that the people are entertained,” Fleming told fans at a press conference last month.

Fleming said ‘Night of the Hit Makers’ will give everyone the outlet they have been looking for after Hurricane Irma. He promises that the show will help people get over the frustration, the stress, and the depression once they come to the Festival Village and let loose.

“Xtratight Hit Makers Relief” is just the start in a series of promotional grabs leading up to the Carnival festivities.
