PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — Reports have reached the Ministry of VROMI indicating that several areas are experiencing significant flooding as a result of this evening’s rainfall.
The Ministry strongly advises against unnecessary travel on the roads at this time. All residents, especially those in flood prone areas, are asked to be vigilant and watch for flooding and landslides.
As the rainfall subsides the Ministry will be out to assess any damages.
