PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten (TBO) — On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, the Anti-corruption Taskforce (TBO) detained suspect S. on St. Maarten. S, 48 years old, is the chief of security of Princess Juliana International Airport and is suspected of accepting bribes, money laundering and complicity in violation of the duty to register foreign exchange.
In connection with this, the home and workplace of S. have also been searched.
The suspect has been taken into custody today.
His house in Belvedere and office at PJIA airport was search.
