Track and field athletes from the Friendly Island returned from the 44th annual Carifta Games in St. Kitts Wednesday. Shakeba Pink was honoured as the top athlete of the team winning a silver medal in the 3,000 metres and fourth in the 1,500m races. They were met at the airport by family friends and Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication Claret M. Connor. Jamaica topped the medal chart with 85 including 41 gold and 25 silver. Second was the Bahamas with 31 medals of which 8 were gold and third was Barbados with 16 medals.
