Saint Kitts — On Monday 4 May 2015 about 4:00 pm officer of the Frigate Bay Police Station responded to a report of someone being drowned at South Friars Bay in the vicinity of Ship Wreck.
Initial investigation revealed that 21 year old Adolph Stapleton of Stapleton Village went to the beach with a number of friends. Sometime after they arrived at the beach, Adolph and his friends went into the sea water. Shortly after Adolph encountered difficulty and began to submerge, his friends managed to take him to the shore where a Professor of the ROSS University School of Veterinary Medicine assisted by administered CPR. The E.M.S. was summoned to the scene, they arrived at the scene and transported Adolph to the Joseph N France General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the attending Doctor.
On Wednesday 6 May 2015 an autopsy was performed on the body of the late Adolph Stapleton formally of Stapleton Village by resident pathologist Dr. Adrian Numez, who concluded that death was a result of Asphyxia due to drowning.
