Saint Vincent — Two men, said to be residents of Barrouallie, trade blows during J’ouvert in Layou on Saturday.

The driver of the truck that was providing music at the event drove away after the fight and police later went searching for the persons involved in the bloody exchange.
One of the men was left with a bloody ear and back, seemingly as a result of cut wounds.
It is the second time in recent years that fighting brought a carnival activity Central Leeward to a premature end.
